Our K9 unit was established in 2016 with its first K9, Creed. K9 Creed's handler, Andrea, is not only the first female for the police department but also the first K9 handler. Andrea is a US Army veteran who started her career in law enforcement in 2004 and has been handling and training dogs since 2016. K9 Creed served from 2016-2024 with the Amberley Village Police Department and is trained in narcotics detection and patrol operations. K9 Creed is a GSD originally from Europe and responds to commands in Dutch, German, and English. K9 Armour is Andrea's second working K9, and Armour is trained and certified in Explosive detection and patrol operations. K9 Armour is a GSD from Europe and responds to commands in Dutch, German and English. Our nonprofit organization K9 CREED ARMOUR PROGRAM was established in 2021. We raise money to provide the proper protection & equipment working dogs need while they risk their lives for us. The funds from each item you purchase, and all monetary donations will support the K9 CREED ARMOUR PROGAM and will purchase K9 safety/protection equipment (ballistic vests, medical emergencies), and needed equipment (collars, leashes, harnesses, food supplies, kennel equipment).  Our K9 apparel was created by the K9 unit and handler to support the K9 unit and other K9 units in need.
